1985 Raleigh Team Corsa

Picked up my new project. Been after one of these for ages and finally managed to pick this one up not far from me
Got it home and just had to tweak the wheels to sort out a couple of wobbles, tighten the crank arms and replace the gear cables before I could take it out for its first proper spin. Rides so smooth for a 30 year old bike!
In an ideal world it could do with a full strip and respray to sort some minor rust and a small dent in the top tube but I'm kind of liking the survivor look with all its battle scars.
Have some hoods on order together with toe clips/straps and will also probably change the tyres for some tan walls and the bar tape. Other than that just good clean and polish and we're good to go

As the originals seem to be impossible to find I just went for a set of tan Dia Compe ones.

I know where there are some, but at £45 a pop I think I'll go down the Dia Compe route as well.

Plus the originals are 'gum' so won't last anyway!
