No, this was all pre-shimano. Group set was SunTour MounTech so I need a SunTour FD-2700, MounTech v2

Well, not pre Shimano as Deerhead is 1983

But, but BUT!

I do have a Suntour MounTech front mech too.

Pic soonish as its dark out and I'm busy this weekend

*and the catalogue pic shows this version which I think is the one I have

Cheers Mark, heres a list of what I need so I don't think that donner bike will be the way to go;

SunTour Mountech V1 front mech
SunTour MounTech GTL rear mech
Suzue SIW SS-MTB hubs
Rigida rims

PS that Catalogue scan is from the 1986 Marlboro version, same frame, just slightly different kit

PPS when I said pre-shimano I meant this bike is before Claud Butler started using Shimano

PPPS Yes I've read that Canyon thread, shame about bloody Photo Bucket...
