Corking build to be sure .... the green and silver compliment rather than compete against each other in the bling

Geometry wise it screams the 1980’s at you

Thanks Spud.

Nice little test ride on what should have been Mountain Mayhem weekend.... :(

Very different to anything I've ridden before apart from perhaps a modern bike bizarrely…. :?
I guess it’s the fact that the front end is long and lazy plus the bars are very wide and the hand position is only about an inch or so in front of the headset?

The gears on the other hand….. they operate smoothly enough but I can see why friction thumbies didn’t last long.. what a pain in the arse to get it just right. Claud Butler Canyon (3).jpg Claud Butler Canyon (12).jpg

Looking 'all terrain'!

I was so very disapointed in Deerhead when I finally got my hands on it. I stick with MT-60 wherever possible.

I like to think of it as ‘trimming’ your changes.

Hold on, what happened? Back up a bit......

When did the Suntour kit morph into Shimano and grow an extra cog?

Yes... & something I’ve always enjoyed on the road... doing it with a thumb over bumps on the other hand... :|

That's as good an explanation as I've ever heard, what better way to spend the money.
