1983 Stumpjumper Sport Klunker project

Finally found a old Stumpy in my size. Not planning a full retro build but something inspired by the period. Would like it to be a fun fireroad klunker. Don't have much parts in the ways of parts yet. Would like to do a M700 XT deer head drivetrain.

Any one else on retro have any early stumpys?

Really cool, will be watching with interest as I have a similar project. Not lucky enough to have found an early Stumpy but it's a frame from the same year and I have the same brief for it.
