For Sale 1977 Raleigh Merlin - £40

Hi all

I think it's a 1977, not 100% sure. Note that the saddle has been removed and replaced with another. Surplus to requirements. Pick up only from East Yorkshire. PM me for address details. The bike is sold as seen in the attached images. It's standard as far as I can tell and was bought by me to setup as a Work Bike bvut I have recently landed myself my true goal, a Moulton Deluxe

I have free'd off the seat post and bar stem. The Dynamo and lights work. Cleaned the chain and a few other little things but it has to go ASAP.

If the brakes were to fit my Moulton Deluxe i'd be swapping them out, shame as the Weinnman brakes are in great condition on the Merlin. Love the old school green and gold colours as well.

Probably from 1980, date code is on the stem. I've got the same bars, stem and brake levers on my Raleigh SBDU Special but missing one of the Raleigh Forged stem decals. Good pub bike with early Shimano piano wire index shifting
