Raleigh Carlton road racing /light touring bike
Reynolds 531 frame built in 1977 and assembled in 1979
Bought this bike from TI Raleigh accountant. He was working in Ti Raleigh as an accountant. While working between different buildings / divisions he got to know the people and they build a custom frame for him.
Built in 1979 in Worksop and assembled in 1979
Beautiful lugs
He used the bike for a short while to cycle for work and has been little used and later it was left hanging in the garage for nearly 40 years. Some rust on the frame but its inly superficial and would clean up nicely
Structurally it is sound.
Bike includes full mudguards and a carrier /rack and also has Reynolds 531 frame, 10 speed gears,
Brooks leather saddle,
Campagnolo pump (dont see that everyday)
Weinmann brakes,
alloy wheels
