1975 Somec Special, #12. 12th frame they ever made?

I've found what I believe to be a very early Somec frameset. The frame number is 12, and the Columbus decal dates to 1975. I've seen minimal info on their early history, but have seen 1973 listed as the date they started building frames. Can anyone confirm if their frame numbers were serial, as in this is the 12th frame they ever built? It doesn't appear there's a frame registry on the web anywhere.

They're still in production, might even have a registry. It's worthwhile sending them an email with photos - if it's really early they might even want to buy it from you!

It's got 12 and 7 under the bracket, could be a month and a year date.

Definitely not 1980's as identified by the cutout head lugs and Columbus decal from 1975

The Columbus decals scream 1973-79. No later

I'd definitely send some photos to the above main website. They're bound to have some sort of registry for Somec. Quite an important brand imo
