t year to find something different and do some detective work . i looked at the whole of reader's road bikes on this forum once and found it great . various classics in there have stuck in my mind [that bottechia and stringfellows
la vie clair ].A lot of chaps do great research to find the original equipment even down to the bb and handle bar tape and add a rider,s name to the finished project and this adds to the fun ! occasionaly the actual frame that that rider rode pops up !what frame to get next and what is the best is alway,s the million dollar one and that is probably what feeds the obsession.I am always delighted when people mention what their,s handle

Looks like I scored a possible gem at a not terribly outrageous price -- 1979 Carnielli in original setup (Campagnolo, details tbd). Deposit sent, can't wait to pick it up. Fingers crossed.
