After my last ride on it yesterday I’m selling my all chrome 1970s Colnago not sure of the model but likely to be Mexico. As you will see from the photos its in great condition and has been used the Italian L’Eroica and Retro Ronde in Belgium where it was great to ride and very admired. There are signs of age on the parts (minimal) and a small dent on the top tube, probably from a handlebar knock, but this only small. Details of the parts are below:
Seat Tube Size C-T: 53 cm
Top Tube Size C-C: 54 cm
Headset: Campagnolo
Crankset: Campagnolo Nuovo Record with Colnago Pantographed Chainring
Pedals: Campagnolo + Christophe Clips and Campagnolo Straps
Front derailleur: Drilled Campagnolo Nuovo Record
Rear derailleur: Drilled Campagnolo Nuovo Record (Patent 72)
Brakes: Drilled Campagnolo Nuovo Record with Campagnolo Brake Blocks
Shifters: Drilled Campagnolo Nuovo Record
Saddle: Unica
Rims: Mavic MA2
Hubs: Campagnolo Nuovo Record
Tyres: Vittoria Competition 19c x 700c
Seatpost: Drilled Campagnolo 27.0
Handlebar: Cinelli - Campione del Mondo 63-40
Stem: Drilled Cinelli
It took me a long time to source the parts and build up and I realise I could recoup quite a lot from selling parts but I’d prefer to sell it as a bike.
I’m finding it difficult to price so I’ll start at £1400 (posted within the UK) to gauge the interest.
Cheers
Paul
