Yeah, the pictures bugging me now. seat is now nice and level and also as low as it can possibly go and he's still on tip toes!

Flip the seat post clamp, so the saddle rails pass below the bolt (if the saddle will allow it).

Thanks Neil, it’s been great fun and there is a massive difference in how my son is looking after this CB compared to any bike he’s had from new.
Also he’s asked to go for a proper (15 mile+) ride almost every (dry) evening since we finished!
I’ve had years of “the family 4 mile tootle” which I used to have to resort to bribes and all sorts of persuasions....
Next F&s project is a 1955 Fillet brazed Lady sport for the wife/mum
