Somebody on Accordionists.info just reminded me I used to use this forum a couple of years back when I rediscovered my interest in Holdsworths.
I've been mostly using Bikeforums.net which is mainly Americans, but they're fairly civilised and can almost speak English. But I really should report this here.
I've spent a couple of years looking for a Whirlwind (fat chance) or a (fishtail lug) Cyclone in need of repair, and hence at a reasonable price.
Start of this year I finally found one: 1961 Cyclone for £127.
As delivered (March 2023)
I've now done a full rebuild and just completed 250 miles on it and it's damn fine.
