Cheers Jamie,
New photo now up.
I will post further detail photos here this evening (last few school bits & bats need sorting today)

It looks absolutely great, although I do rather like the old leather saddle.

I tried riding on the old saddle first thing this morning, but it’s been shaped too much to the previous owners rear. So it’s going to get soaked and re-shaped. BigBlock from down under has PM’d me some comprehensive instructions, might do a thread.

Also this morning I bought a 2nd hand Blue Brooks B17 on e-bay, so that will be swapped over later.

Re:

I have tried two leather saddles, one a Wright that is probably 20 years old and the other a brand new Spa Nidd... both left deep impressions on me.

I have gone back to modern saddles and have two leather saddles for sale.

Well worth the wait!
Though do agree about the saddle, though a blue B17 like you say should suite much better. I don't think it's the blue, more the newness of it.
Beautiful, either way. Another job very well done :)

Thanks Jamie,
I’ve been looking out for a 2nd hand blue B17 for months and thought the old honey one would do as a substitute, hoping it would match with the hoods, but when I sat on it this morning I knew it wouldn’t do.
The blue modern one is actually my lad Jim’s and will eventually make its way onto his 1978 Cavalier.

Poll up soon?
I’m itching to see how she fares against the Carlton Hoard!

Re:

Always promised to be a real stunner from the original frame shot posted. Certainly is!!... roll on the months poll. Congratulations on all you have achieved. It was certainly well worth the wait.

Now that is pretty and suitably shiny.

A fitting completion for all that hard work, colouring in and polishing
