Hi everyone,
I am looking to buy a 1950's 22" Ellis Briggs 'INTERNATIONAL' either a frameset or complete bike.....if anyone can help...BRILL!

Hello, I have a 1954 Ellis Briggs International frame which was resprayed in the Ellis Briggs blue and yellow about ten years ago. It is either a 22" or possibly 22 1/2" (will measure tomorrow) and has the seat tube square tapped mount for a rod operated front changer. Would this be of interest?

The seat tube is 56cm (22") centre to top and the top tube (crossbar) is 57cm (22 1/2") centre to centre.

Hello again,
Still no sign of the photos.........while I'm waiting, can you tell me if the frame has had any modifications made other than the brazed-on bracket for the front mech? Has the back end been widened to accept a wider wheel (ie: 120mm 5 speed to 130mm 8speed upwards?) Is there any damage, dents etc etc anywhere?
To try and speed things up, whereabouts are you situated and have you a figure in mind for the frame?
