I could give that a home - very nice. Seller's wrong to say "good unrestored condition". He's photographed the "Renovated by Allin Cycles" decal! Although that was probably done in the 50s or 60s.

How the did manage that with cottered cranks, unless it’s so loose it may as well not have a cotter pin fitted?

Looks like the L cotter pin is loose. Or there is summat seriously wrong with the axle...

It's a historic racer, the paint looks (modern but) ok
If Buckley means something to you it's good value...
But a headclip stem is strong money, and a decent working 30s gearset won't be cheap.
By the time the bike is finished, I doubt you'd have much change from a thousand.

I think some clever mix of parts can be better idea...and cheaper too. I'd go for it but already have two 1930s machines...with (almost) all proper parts

A headclip stem is an object of beauty though, well worth the money.
