I'll be getting the camera out as soon as the brakes and stem are on, fear not ;)

that is really nice mate! :)

Thanks :)

It was a nice easy build too, as I had 99% of the bits I needed after splitting down 2 more Zaskars which I'd recently bought. SEANSTEPHENS has one of my frames which he's building at the moment, you should check out his thread too. And cherrybomb has just finished building another Aqua Zaskar. They're everywhere! :D

That's looking very smart now.

Gotta love a Zaskar, good honest bikes built to do the job without any fuss. Much more Ford RS than Ferrari.

How tall are you BTW? Judging by that saddle I reckon you're about the same height as me which is interesting cos I get on better with the 18" frame as it's just that bit longer.

I'm about 5'9" and a half. An 18" frame would be a slightly better fit, but I've always liked my bikes to be on the smaller side so I usually go the next size down if I can get away with it. I've got a 120mm stem on it now which stretches the ride position out nicely and puts my weight down over the centre/front of the bike which gives it a really aggressive feel. I really like it although it's a complete world away from my Cannondale Badboy!

Re: 16" Aqua Zaskar - Finished (ish)!

I'm 5'10" and no matter how I try to get smaller frames to fit they just never feel long enough in the top tube.

I have a 135mm stem on both of my 18" frames and it feels just right. Admittedly there is a zero layback seat post, but even if this wasn't the case I'd be looking at a 120-125mm stem.

The 16s do look good though I have to say.

Re: 16" Aqua Zaskar - Finished (PICS PAGE 9)

All finished.

Haven't weighed it yet, but I'd be interested to know how much it weighs so I'll be doing it soon.

I'm very pleased with it. :D
