Hi guys, having done a grand total of 65 miles from new in 1998, my £1,000 Trek 8000 SL has to go. It's had a service recently and is basically pristine.
The full spec is here:
http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/Bike ... model=8000
Including: aluminium frame, Rock Shox Judy T2, Deore LX V-brakes with Avid SD-1.9 L levers, LX shifters, Deore XT front and rear mech, Deore LX crankset, plus ICON bars, seat post, stem and 'Fatty' bar-ends that still look great.
Catalogue is here: (see page 9)

I also added a couple of upgrades when I bought it - including the XT front mech and LX SPDs.
So if you fancy a very light hardtail from back in the day - here you are! I also have the manuals.
Hope it can go to a good home. Btw, am in Surrey and obviously collection would be easiest but happy to agree something if you're miles away. Cheers.
