15/20mm axle to 9mm axle conversion?

I'm new to all this modern axle sizing stuff, sorry...

I'm expecting in the post a set of these wheels:

But apparently the front wheel on the set I'm getting has only a 15/20mm axle at the moment. I'd like to use them with my old Manitou Mars forks, obviously for standard 9mm axle. Can the 15/20mm axle be converted to slot a standard QR through? What are the options and how easy is it to do?

Cheers :)

Go to the company website and they should have the user manual there. Might also be info on spares available such as axle kits.

Re: 15mm axle to 9mm axle conversion?

Cheers, after a bit of research I'm pretty sure it can be done, but there seem to be a number different possibilities depending on what axle is actually on there so maybe I'd better wait and see what actually turns up. As far as I understand, this is what I'm getting on the front wheel, but it looks to me like it might fit on a standard QR dropout? Better wait and see and ask more questions when I've got hold of them...

Right, problem solved I think - as I'd hoped, the axle in the above picture that came with the wheels is actually a QR conversion kit, so it looks like it will be a pretty straightforward job of removing the equivalent 15mm kit that's currently installed, fitting this one in (as per http://www.amclassic.com/download/manua ... trofit.pdf) and away we go, QR front wheel. Cheers for the replies.
