120mm fork on a 1997/8 King Kahuna - is it safe?

The longer fork will be fine, as already mentioned it will only really affect the angles. You can always run it with more sag as well.

Thanks @mk one

Seller has offered to reduce the travel to 100mm for me before shipping - would that be the best option all round?
As long as the travel is lost at the top, so the fork is 20mm shorter fully extended.
Sometimes travel reduction is at the bottom of the stroke- which wouldn't be helpful here.

Seller has just advised:

“I have reduced the travel so 20mm is lost from the top so is now officially a 100mm fork!”

So I think I’m all good now 😆

(Unless anyone tells me/thinks otherwise?)
