12 speed cassette question..

So I now have a 2007 kona stinky and I need to change the rear cassette to 12 speed. It currently has 11(I think).

Is it feasible that I will be able to change the freehub to microspline? I do not know the make of the hub as I do not have it with me at the moment?

It’s seems there are a few freehub options but not sure

Help. I do not like this new world that is proprietary stuff to have certain stuff

Don’t bother messing with the freehub. You can get 12 speed cassettes to fit HG, although you’ll probably be limited to an 11t smallest cog. I run Sram NX 11-50 on my plus bike. Weighs a ton but shifts nicely and is lasting well.

Brand X and Sunrace also do cheaper options but I’ve heard various opinions on shift quality, so have always stuck with Sram.
