Hi all, does anyone know if its possible to fit a 11sp SRAM Cassette on a Mavic 10 sp freehub?

I am looking at the Sram PG1130 MTB Cassette - 11 Speed and it states on here that it fits 10- and 11-speed driver bodies?

Thanks

The PG-1130 cassette is light, durable and equipped with SRAM’s super wide gear range that’s a perfect fit for any ride. Personalise your wide range gearing with one of eight available X-SYNC™ chainrings.

Specification:
  • Heat-treated steel cogs with aluminium spider
  • Compatible with all SRAM 11-speed chains
  • PG-1130 11-42t cassette fits 10- and 11-speed driver bodies. (1.85mm spacer is required for 11-speed driver.)

Yes. 11 speed mtb cassettes are narrower than 11 speed road cassettes and fit on 10 speed freehubs. The spacer that’s mentioned is used to take up the free space on the 11 speed freehubs. Also quite common for mtb hubs to come road spaced so you can use either.

Great thank you. Now just got to work out the rest of the drive train! 👍🏻
