I was going to say build one in the first place, but close enough. I enjoy the fact that my knees will not be punished for the removal of gears and chain rings.

Ride 12 miles to work on the flat with the wrong size front cog, then have
to ride home 12 miles after.....

16 speed road bike it's a pleasant ride, SS Zaskar made my lungs and
legs explode.

Number 1 , ride 15 miles of Forrest tracks with a childrens trailer attached, two small girls in it (oh the added hill challange)

Anyone got any more ? sure we could get to 10 things you shouldn't do on/with a single speed !!!!

It obviously didn't kill you and nothing broke, so I think it should be scratched off the things you shouldn't do and added to your weekly training.

By the time the girls are 18 you'll either have the strongest legs of any retrobiker or be a broken man

Ha ha , good point ,besides they enjoyed it so much, think Ill have no choice,but do it again,again and again !

It's probably not the wisest move to work in a shop that sells a lot of expensive full suspender bikes , turn up to the evening group rides wearing grotty jeans and a tshirt and spend all the time at the front , being faster than everyone .

I need to enjoy it while I can though . Winter will be spent telling those people that their expensive bikes have bearings that need replacing and their 10 speed cassettes have packed full of mud and need replacing , again
