Pace RC30 (1st or 2nd generation) in 1" flavour would look very cool on a BOLX, the good thing about this is steerers are interchangeable and they are not that rare....expect to pay £80 upwards for a pair.

Post an add in the Wanted section :)

Yeah RC30 would be cool, or even ring up Chas and ask for a price on a new pair to suit his old masterpiece, I'm sure he'd be touched :)

And if you want to sell the RC36's let me know :)

Chas will want a mint! Any framebuilder could knock something up. I used some early Marin forks on a build as they had classic, curved & tapered shape I was after.

Forks

Chas is not making the old forks that he used to. :(

He currently has my DB and when I dropped it off we discussed the topic.

Maybe though if there was enough interest he may consider buying the material to make a few sets. Food for thought.

I used RC 30's on my DB BITD and they were absolutely ace, they tightened up the steering and made for a fantastic ride. Here is a link to my thread that will one day be closed when finished. Maybe this year. :D
