Life is so much easier with a good jig.
Love this so much. Keep up the mad skillz!

Don't encourage him. He needs no encouragement! Model makers are a strange talented breed. RB is a perfect place for one to hang around and show of his skills.I'm looking forward to the wheelbuild
is that 24gauge spokes?
Will they be butted 24/26?
J-bend? Straight pull?
Planning on 26 gauge, plain gauge. I had wondered about a controlled stretch on some 24 gauge to replicate the butting, but took myself outside and had a quiet chat.I'm looking forward to the wheelbuild

I expect that the spokes will be metal wire this time unless I can find silver fishing line, so solder will likely feature to create the spoke heads.
J-bend, 32 hole, 3 cross. I'd love to try snowflake lacing, but my P20 wasn't that sort of bike. I'll save that for the next build, which is already taking up space in my head.
On the contrary, encourage away. To be honest, it's working quite well as motivation to crack on with this build.Don't encourage him. He needs no encouragement! Model makers are a strange talented breed. RB is a perfect place for one to hang around and show of his skills.
Snowflake lacing is sadly an indication of the triumph of naive enthusiasm and showmanship over common sense and usability!
Please don't go there @LumPi Panda !
