1 1/8" forks, 1" stem - shim possible or stoopid??

OK. For reasons far to boring to go into here, want to use a 1" flexstem in 1 1/8 " forks, threaded headset. What are my options...... :?

Do you mean a quill type stem? not sure you can get a shim for this.

Yep. Quill. So would need to be long enough to shim the expander wedge as well. Thinking maybe long seatpost shim????

I have a Halfords stem adaptor on one of mine, tenner and you can pick
one up straight away (tho a lot for just a shim !).
