Generally naff and chilly in Branston, but then LGF is popping over for a ride and he always brings nice weather.

So, I fully expect to be applying suntan lotion at 8pm

Right looking more and more like I will be London based for this. So who is up for a Retrobike London photo with Big ben in the back ground as it strikes 8?

Could be up for that We could go for a blast through the city ending up at Big Ben 8pm

Shame it's not on a Tuesday as I would not only be riding but RACING!

I am intending to ride my 1983 Cleland Aventura in the Ashridge forest near to Tring railway station (Euston Line) in Hertfordshire, Starting at about 7pm from Aldbury village. This was the starting point for Geoff Apps' 1986-88 Ashridge Jaunts.

Anyone who would like to join me is more than welcome. Otherwise, apart from the deer and rabbits, I will have the whole of the ancient forest to myself.

A lap of the lake in Klietz, Germany here, on an old Explosif.

I think its a great idea, I'm lucky in the fact that the roads and trails round here are quiet, no battling through London traffic at dusk here.
