Hi all,

This is my first post as i've just bought this frame & forks off eBay as a project bike BUT don't know what exact year she is, all i know is she's from the 90's ? Can anyone advise on an exact year and model type ?

i'm 99% sure it's a 92 , i built my father-in-law one of these up a couple of years ago nice bikes

Hardrock Ultra

That would be at a guess a 92 Hardrock Ultra or....
It could also be a 91 Hardrock metro as both had the same colourscheme with the metro having a front light and a rear rack. 200gs cranks, der on the metro.
I dont think they sold many metro's.
Hard to tell with these serial numbers but fire them through and we can try and decipher them. But basically they are the same bike, one with a rack and lights and one without. Yours is without so I say Ultra
Bargain buy whichever it is, I would give it a good dose of frame saver before building it up and hope to see yourself and the hardrock at a macretro ride sometime.

I agree on the frame saver, get some in and restrip it. Hopefully that bottom bracket comes out alright.
