So you could say...since my last (first) post introducing myself. You could say things snowballed.
The 2008 Kona. I will be honest. Feels soulless. So its on the chopping block. It was great to get me back on 2 wheels and pedalling again. And for reminding me that crashing bloody hurts!
This whole thing spiralled from a member of the family who I hadnt seen for a long time gifting me £250 to take them out for the day...I decided that was the perfect budget for all of us to have new bikes!
It might sound crazy.
But I have aquired.
Giant Acid 14" frame For the daughter.
Specialized P1(?) 15" frame for the mrs.
Cove Stiffee 17.5" Frame for me.
And a top tube mount seat for little man.
My shopping list is growing by the hour.
Going to have quite a few bits that I would preferably like to trade for items that are needed. Plonk that in the for sale section?
Anyway. A host of bodge jobs. Bad paint. Worn brake pads and squeaky shit awaits.
I know its a small budget. But I plan to barter swap beg borrow and trade my way to success. Anyone fancy getting on my project?
Got a NS Suburban 24/26 that I am willing to trade to get some required bits and pieces.
