£10 ! Viper B-52 bomber jump slalom frame in red SOLD

Viper b-52 bomber frame in bright red. Think it’s from around 2000/1.

Has various chips , marks and scratches but solid.

Quite rare as very little info around about them. From what I can see it’s a European brand that was being imported into the Uk around 2000 when jump ,trial, street dedicated bikes were just starting to appear. Yes I realise it’s got Stars and Stripes and USA all over it but that’s the info I’ve found so far.

Comes with seatpost and QR clamp.

£25 collection only from Chesterfield. Cheap price for collection.

If I remember rightly Viper was The Woolly Hat Shop's own brand of frame. You are about right datewise I think.

Any idea on the geometry?
Specifically the chainstay length and bottom bracket height with some 405-410mm a-c forks?

Hi

Chain stay is 430mm from centre of Bb to centre of rear axle.

No idea on BB height as it’s a frame now and not built.

...huh. I used to have one of these back in the day! Don't suppose you still have it kicking around?

I'm a fair way away but will be heading near you at the end of July/beginning of August so could always swing by, if you still have it then...
