So this is my girlfriends bike, formerly her nans which has sat in the garden for the better part of a decade.
She wanted to get it going again and so here it is, with lots of bits from the parts bin.
All things considered it wasn't in too bad condition, apart from the cranks that were...

I had a Raleigh M-Trax 700 in burgundy back in the 90's that I loved but was stolen from me. If anyone knows of a 700 for sale please let me know.
Colour doesn't matter, but would be amazing if it was the same.
I have acquired a Raleigh Royal to which I am now trying to fit suitable new parts.
I found out that the BB is 71mm, 26TPI and the axle for this is 126.5mm long (stamped 5S).
If I keep the BB in place it still has a 126mm axle and I'm not sure which crank would fit for the chain line to go...

Good morning all!
I've managed to acquire this very pristine looking Dynatech Diablo STX in turquoise/blue.
I've had a few outings on it, approximately 40 miles since Sunday and GOODNESS me, it's very smooth, even with the original components.
So, all STX, I'm changing the cantis for Vs at...
For sale is this fully restored classic late-eighties mountain bike that was way ahead of its time with straight forks, 6061-T8 Aluminium Main Tubes thermal bonded to a steel rear triangle with wishbone seat stays and a steel headtube. Also the rear brake cable on this 31-year-old frame is...
I just purchased a 'Raleigh' frame off ebay painted up in Castorama colours but sold as an 80s Veloce.
It certainly isn't a Veloce and having looked at some of the posts on here i'm now thinking that it's probably a Falcon not a Raleigh. I suspected this when I bought it but liked the look of...
The wheel keeps spinning! Today, I scored this beautiful Raleigh USA Ti Titanium "John Tomac" model for - lets say: half the price I usually see (well known branded) titanium mountain bikes ever start from! At first, I was quite unsure about it - especially because I found my absolute dream...
Hello,
I am new to the Forums here but am hoping this is the right place to post as I am going over to Ireland in September and hoping to do some renovation/modification work on my Dad's old early 1980s Raleigh tourer to make it more rideable on the beautiful but very undulating and often...
Had I been around and in the market for a new bicycle in the late 1940s early 1950s it would have been one of these a Raleigh RRA Tourist, I have no interest in drop handlebars and going fast, it is about comfort on a long day for me.
I had not expected to ever own an RRA as an original one is...
Front wheel is semi taco'd but possibly recoverable. I have the mudguards for this which you're welcome to. Recent tyres and tubes, new Sturmey gear cable.
Free to collect from Broadstairs, Kent.
Here I have my raleigh moonshine. I'm not a retro bike enthusiast, but remember seeing a couple of posts here about this model. I bought it out of my friend's garage for twenty quid a few years ago and made it tick again. I used it to ride to and from work for a while, until I hopped down a kerb...
