Well ...its plastic in metal. It cant even really be glued together. Please heat it a little and unscrew them counter clockwise. Maybe you turned in the wrong direction :-)

The bike will be built with 3DV parts like the Ringle bottle cage. I will be going back to the "original" Manitou 2 front & back.

A little sneak peak! :-) At the end of last year, I was lucky enough to finally get a 1993/1994 MARIN "Titanium FRS" And with that, my personal Marin journey will end :) I think I had them all. I still own 2x 1994 "Team FRS", several "Team Issues", 1x 1992 "Team Titanium", 2 or 3 1993 "Pine FRS"...

These indeed rarely (!) pop up. I heard that in total, only aprox. 200 of the Marin Titanium FRS have ever been made. I was lucky enough to get one last winter. Will convert it back to full 1993 (since it had been built in late 1993 but was equipped full Manitou Three). I prefer Manitou 2...
