Orange Lite Stik seat post 26.4mm with shim - SOLD

Re: Orange Lite Stik seat post 26.4mm with shim Hah, figured that was a typo :p Nevermind the Zoom, then. It's not going in an Orange at all; the Lite Stik just looks like a nice post.

Re: Thanks :) Zoom in same style sounds good, too. I'm struggling to find anything other than very basic Kalloy posts in 26.4, locally.

    NOS Zeus 'New Racer' brakeset

Photos sent, Paul. Glad to be of help. Very interesting to know the original RRP! Also, I've just noticed that the picture on the box also shows the conventional style brake shoes.

Bringing this back from the dead, since I still have them kicking around. I really don't have a use for them, so, any takers at 50 GBP? (+ postage)

    2009 Orange Prestige build (neo-retro)

Hopefully having this up here will motivate me to finish it. 2009 Orange re-issue Prestige with RC31 fork (440mm), Chris King h'set and BB, with Middleburn X-type crankset. Saddle is a Charge Spoon in black/orange, and the s'post is a random carbon jobbie, eventually to be replaced by...

Anyone run a road derailleur on a 1x9 mtb setup?

Anyone run a road derailleur on a 1x9 mtb setup?

X MPH at X RPM I was comparing. You're right, though, there's likely more "real world" difference than the numbers indicate. Still umming and erring about this. Few more parts to buy before I need to commit to a mech/cassette, so we'll see.

Anyone run a road derailleur on a 1x9 mtb setup?

Thanks, I think I will. Mid-high end road parts seem to be cheaper than their MTB equivalents, too.

Anyone run a road derailleur on a 1x9 mtb setup?

Plugging some numbers into Sheldon Brown's gear calculator, it looks like there's not a huge difference between a 12-27 road cassette and, say, an 11-34 mtb, paired with a 34t ring up front.

Anyone run a road derailleur on a 1x9 mtb setup?

Sorry if this has been covered in the past, but an internet search has opinions all over the place; nothing solid. Running a single chain-ring up front, is there any merit to the idea of using a road mech/cassette at the back? (general XC/trail, singletrack riding). The idea would be to...

    2005 Turner 5 Spot - Finished update Pg. 3

Wow, very nice 8). What's involved in getting the thumb shifters to mesh with the modern 9 speed? I figured you needed the Paul bar-end shifter mount to make that work.

    Hope brake questions.

That's nice to hear. I'm servicing a set of C2s to use on my modern build, (for no other reason than I think they look absolutely fantastic).
