Re: I did just that. Used some Mafac centre pulls to get the deeper drop at the front. Fixed so no idea at the back.

Re: Just take the bloody paint off. The QR does look a bit chewed up so you maybe losing something there as well but I have used worse.

Agree with al you say about the HED. It does sound nice and at my TT level that's as important as an extra second or two. Running it with a 13-19 Regina Titall freewheel. Thanks
