Unbeleivably I was given this free! Amate at work was moving and clearing out loads of Stuff. This was his late fathers who had it from new and just wanted it to go to a good home rather than the tip!!! Rides really well, will regrease everything and put new cables on...still has the original...

Re: Great Project...regards the rim and crank decals, myself and a friend got Greg at Cyclomondo in oz to make them. if you notice we also had Carlton ones made up as well, there on his site...I have a set on my Criterium :D

Recently picked this up, an unmolested Carlton Grand Prix, made November 1980. Its hardly turned a wheel and looks like its been kept indoors all its life. Still had the original tyres on it! just needed cleaning and servicing. Also fitted new bar tape and saddle.....it rides lovely

Re: Hi, Thanks for the compliments. It all depends on how accurate a restoration you wish to carry out, most of the parts and decals are available, some take a little more to track down than others. I kept mine pretty close to original apart from the bar tape and saddle upgrade for a higher...
