I doubt very much that is a Karakoram, on closer inspection it has double eyelets on the rear dropouts, which to my knowledge only appeared on lower end frames, like the outpost. There were only ever single eyelets for racks on older Karakoram frames IIRC. Another problem on this bike is he's...

having just measured the distance, it's about 13mm on the drive side and 6mm on the non drive side between the cranks and chainstays

On that note, can anyone make any recommendations for spindle/axle length of bottom bracket for my Bravado? It has a bb fitted that just a placeholder, which is correct at 68mm shell and has a 120mm spindle/axle, which I think could be a little too long

I only cook with stainless steel pans, unless that is bad too?

Just ordered the blue Jagwire cables for my Bravado! Only question, should I worry about them if they are galvanised inner cables? My bikes are stored indoors only but do get ridden, I haven't had any issues with any of my other bikes' brake/gear cables going rusty so far.

At the time when I was talking to the shop manager (Jules) about getting a Zaskar frame I was hoping to get a '92 model, unfortunately I couldn't get one and ended up with an early '93 model instead. I was still happy to own a Zaskar though! 😁

I am after a 120mm length GT Flipflop stem for a '92 GT Bravado, condition not too critical as it will get resprayed! As long as it functional and safe, that is what counts.

My 1999 GT Tequesta, the bike that reignited my love for GT bikes! Bought last year and and the only original parts are the frame, forks and seatpost, the rest has been replaced/upgraded over the course of the last year.

Awesome, It was a great shop and spent many hours and ££££'s there!
