The 1992 TerraLiner-Carbolite was my first really nice bike in the early 90s. All black XT and Syncros equipment - very nice. I don't know where to find a fork for the TrailRunner. Best chance is finding a donor I think.

I would keep it as it is. You have an authentic original Miyata Century. It can be original only once. The frame can't be disassembled.

That is orignal. In 1993 it was 'Miyata' for the downtube and 'Koga' on the seattube.

This is my 1993 Koga-Miyata TrailRunner-Carbolite I collected earlier this week. I already have a TrailRunner-Carbolite (since 1995), but this one is like how it was shown in the 1993 catalogue, except for tires. Examples like this I don't encounter often, so were happy to encounter this one...

I had one. This looks like a T-Max indeed and it probably is one.

I have both the RidgeRunner and the ValleyRunner of the same year. The later has a welded fork. The RidgeRunner has a brazed fork. I think the 1989 RidgeRunner fork is the same.

This will make a nice project. Finding the original fork will be a challange. Possibly a nice upgrade would be a Tange Switchblades or similar.
