Unbelievable. The one item that should be at the top, the single one invention that has effected all our riding experience's HUGLEY, not matter what bike (retro or not!) .. & is STILL in use today, that we take for granted ; Hyperglide, By Mr Watarai. !

holy smokes ! i remember those team "replicas" coming into the shop i was working in, every single one came out the box with the seatpost seized! Tim was a legend though.

Because when you apply the brake, the arms move forward / towards the frame, i.e once the pads make contact with rim, they are pulled in a forwards motion, in theory increasing power. On the front, they'll end up wanting to move in wrong direction (because the pads are "pulled away")...
