Yeah I would say you need a pair of the suspension corrected mid 90s P2s, with an axle to crown length of 415mm. The earlier ones would really steepen your angles I'd think. Fine for a street ripper though...

Presumably the Hot went with a front shock in 1994, and so a rigid fork would be 'suspension corrected' to compensate and maintain the proper geometry. I can't confirm that happened in 1994, but it sounds right...

Just a little update. As much as I loved the IRD stem and brakes, I decided to go with a closer to original build, with XT M730 brakes and 4 finger levers, and a Salsa stem with more rise. It feels much better now, and my back thanks me. This bike loves to get out on the trails, and the more...

Haaland just made things very interesting! Beautiful bike; the IRD dropper post takes it over the top for me. Full IRD and Bullseye cranks make for a ridiculous spec. The number of entries has dropped in recent months, but definitely not the quality!! Great month again, as always...

Yes, Haaland has it, a suspension corrected P2. It is not triple butted, and therefore is rather stiff. But the forgiving frame, paired with titanium bar and stem make for a comfortable ride. It is seriously the bike I have to resist taking out on every ride, if I ever want to try any of the...
