Feeling the Endorphins flowing this weekend.....

Tim Often the cracks are just in the paint. It is really a soft tail, so the back end does flex and the paint shows this. Mine has hairline cracks. I think it would have given up the ghost on the last ride we did together with Mike if they were serious. Seat post in mine is 27mm. Or 26.8mm with...

New build for the wife...do you think she'll appreciate it?

Re: Well with the BB in I thought I prep the cranks. Rejuvenate the lettering and a polish (first time for everything  ). Got them looking pretty good. Always liked the look of these cranks and thought they'd match the Syncros theme elsewhere on the bike. But it was not meant to...

    First generation Extralite F1 build

Re: So parts have started to arrive. Decals came fairly swiftly from Italy, and they are NOS. Hopefully they will stick okay. I went for the red edging as I thought that would offset against the yellow well. Red is a colour which is likely to be involved in the build. I like colour in my...

Re: Worth a Punt? I've got MBUK with ads for these from '96. About £350 to £400 or so dependent on kit. Always thought they looked pretty cool.

    First generation Extralite F1 build

One of these popped up on eBay, Chris (Longrun) pm'd me as he thought it's resemblance to an AMP might appeal. He was correct. Missed it the first time, but second time round, with a tenner off, I got it, for less than around for 5 in the local pub! It had been painted in a British Racing...

New build for the wife...do you think she'll appreciate it?

Re: So the plan is to uses as much as I can from the part bin, so to speak. I have looked at numerous photos and mag articles of other Pro-floaters, so I had an idea of where I might go with the build. I have a fair bit of Syncros in a draw so thought that might be a good start....finally a...

New build for the wife...do you think she'll appreciate it?

It was going to be from the parts bin in my garage of the era, but I've had to buy stuff. They were really only sold as frames from the catalogs I've got.

New build for the wife...do you think she'll appreciate it?

Well drive train and setting thing up is really one the most frustrating things I've done. Makes a Rubik's cube seem like child's play. More photos to follow once I have moved them from Google photo rubbish hosting!

New build for the wife...do you think she'll appreciate it?

Thanks Gordon. Love AMPs (I have 3 of them). The items I have been stock piling from recent purchases are going on a different frame, similar but more resemblance to an AMP. Extralite F1. I will do a separate thread on it.

New build for the wife...do you think she'll appreciate it?

Well she not a great fan of creepy crawlies.....so I though I might change her mind with a Mantis. Bought this a while a go and it arrived with a damaged (dented) head tube. thankfully Dan (Danson67) was able to sort it. Paint is not great but I quite like the metallic green so though I'd leave...

Introducing Vera, a 1985 Land Rover 110 County

This going to be useless without photos! New thread with your showroom please! I think LR have pulled a blinder with the new defender (I love my old one) and it will be a huge seller at the cost of the Discovery which quite the ugliest thing on the road. In reality it looks like and I suspect...
