Rock Shox SID XL Forks in Red
Long Travel (4” or 100mm)
Steerer tube is 1 1/8” and 220mm long.
I believe them to be from 1999. They are air adjustable and have rebound and compression adjustment.
The lower legs are a little tatty, with some paint having flaked off in some areas. They’re scratched too and have been touched up in places.
The stanchions are clean. I can’t see any wear marks. There’s one spec/nick that’s less than 1mm on one stanchion, which is approx. 80mm up the stanchion. They feel ok to me when compressed and don’t appear to be leaking any oil.
I have pumped up the forks and they don’t appear to have lost any pressure. The rebound/compression adjuster seems to work too.
In summary, a twenty year old set of forks with lower legs that are a little tatty and would no doubt benefit from a service.
Given the condition, I’d like £45 for the forks, plus postage (approx. £5).
