Gillott head badge needed, for a 1952 Fleur de Lis

Thanks, I have emailed Hilary, but I am not holding my breath that he will have one. If I can't get one in the next year or so I will probably have the holes filled and go with the decal. The frame is in need of a respray (it is rattle can black at the moment) but there is no rush on the project.

Gillott Head badge wanted for a 1952 Fleur de Lis

I thought I had already posted this, so if I have doubled up, apologies. I am after a head badge for my 52 Gillott. If anyone has one, or can point me to one, it would be much appreciated. Roger

Gillott head badge needed, for a 1952 Fleur de Lis

Hi, I acquired a lovely 1952 Gillott a year ago. It is missing its head badge, and I would very much like to obtain one. If anyone has one, or can point me to where I might get one, I would really appreciate it. Thanks Roger

Raleigh 753 - all by SBDU?

Nice to see another Falcon rider. Funny thing is that I also originally rode mine with a Dura Ace black groupset, and it is now fitted with a NOS DA black groupset as I originally raced it. I just don't have photos of it with the DA bits. I have the original receipt of sale of the Raleigh...

Help identifying an old bike - possibly Raleigh Pro?

It's not a Falcon San Remo. Close, but not the same fork and some other details are not the same. Roger

Raleigh 753 - all by SBDU?

Pics of the Falcon are here. While I had it since new, it did get a respray around 1992 and again more recently. Originally it was the dark blue with a sticker front badge, hence no badge now. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rogerrabbit1964/sets/72157623150075887/ Most of my other bikes are...

Raleigh 753 - all by SBDU?

Thanks, and I realize I have misled with my question. I have always thought of W frames as Worksop, but of course they later came from Nottingham. I should rephrase. Were any "W" serial numbered frames from 1988 ever made from 753? Roger 1976 SB 753 road, 1979 SB TT Special 753, 82...

Raleigh 753 - all by SBDU?

This question is aimed at Bikemeister2000; Could a 753 Raleigh have been built at Worksop in 1988? If so, would it have had a W format serial number or an SB serial number? I have believed that a W serial number frame cannot be made of 753. I have never seen a 753 "Worksop" frame, but...
