Sram woody mech something a bit different. I might be nuts but I love the sound of it like a soft ticking, but then again I used to peg playing cards to forks as well lol ( when I was 5!)

Re: That's what I thought when it comes to cassette spacing but am I right in thinking that if I use an esp 7 speed xray shifter with a 7 speed cassette I can adjust the esp 9.0 8 speed to just shift over the 7 cogs.maybe?

I was under the impression that esp sram stuff was compatible the shifters I'm look at are esp 900 xrays not srts
