Yeah thats right. I need a long cage but thats not the problem.. Or at least it has to be one which can handle 9 speeds and 32 teeth max. Lets see, probably I can get a long cage Sachs Aris. The short cage fits...

It is a Shimano UF Dura Ace semi-verical dropout. So nothing special, it has been chromed. But: why do my average derailleurs do not fit???

I am building my mid-80ies (?) rando and realised that my derailleur hanger is different compared to the average:
As you can see, it has two "tabs" (or b-screw tabs). Derailleurs with angle adjust screws do not fit, also pre-SIS mechs like a RD-6207 (which I tried) without the screw...
