Hi all, I've just had a set of forks (and frame) rechromed and unfortunately it looks like the excess material has narrowed the front drop outs such that my axles won't fit! Should I file down the axle threads? It also looks like there is slight encroachment of chrome at the top of the head...

I'll give you that, very nice. Did you polish them yourself? A few of these available but usually with very dull finish. Same with record hubs. Maybe I'll get some and buy some sand paper/ polishing compound... Do you think they'd suit c-record era though? Or am I getting hung up on dates
