My C16R has been at the powder coaters for what seems like an eternity now, (ral 9023, but that will be another thread) and I have been buying parts for it ready to build it up as soon as I get it back. I have been thinking about tyres for it but dont know how big a tyre it can take in the back...

Ive found some metal ready on ebay, as it sounds like it does everything i need. There is a hole in the seat stay 3/4 mm wide, so Ill use a syringe to get the stuff in there and then give it a good shake. I'm hoping it will dissolve all the loose rust in there so I can drain it out and then it...

Ive spent sooo much time looking for the right size stem in the right colour, right length and rise...... Im thinking bugger it ill go with a modern 1 1/8 stem with a shim, much more choice then!! :D Thanks!

I suppose i could use the Detox first and then use the metal ready liquid inside the whole frame to protect it in the future. Would the coating survive the powder coating process i.e. being baked in an oven at up to 200º?
