    Lug stamp/marking, anyone recognise?

    RGD are the folks that made the bb shell,these are found on many decent quality frames from the period but provide no real clue as to the framemaker.

    Hurt like you would not believe :shock: ,got the bars/stem/levers off a guy in New Zealand via classic rendevous,the hoods are quire dry though,got any tips for rejuvenating them?

    Thanks Mel,bought the frame from the U.S,the rest of the bits were bought over a long period,i decided on AX because of the top mounted braze on for the shifters but did rather make a rod for my own back as the AX stuff is murder to get hold of in decent nick :)

    Campagnolo cassettes & chains - did they do them????

    campag made four freewheels,three alloy and one titanium,all horribly expensive! they also did an eight speed chain in the early nineties although i've never had one in my hands or seen one that was for sale,so i suspect very rare also:)
