I was sure it was threaded through the BB before being tightened up but it's been a few decades since I fitted it. :roll:
I'll pop it out over the weekend and double check.

This is a longshot I'm sure but does anyone have a French thread MAVIC bottom bracket and headset that they'd be willing to trade for the equivalent with standard English thread?

I also have a W serial# Corsa.
However, as far as I'm aware the Corsas were hand built from double butted 501 throughout, not 531. Lovelly framesets on these BTW, lively and comfortable.
