WTD: French Thread Mavic SSC BB and H/S

This is a longshot I'm sure but does anyone have a French thread MAVIC bottom bracket and headset that they'd be willing to trade for the equivalent with standard English thread?

I have the following and am looking for the same with French threads.

• Headset-Mavic 305 1" (English)
  Bottom bracket-Mavic 610 cartridge (English)

Must be in excellent condition.

There is no such thing as a French threaded BB as far as I'm aware! The Mavic 601 BB will fit into any frame once the Frame has had the tapers cut into the frames Bottom bracket shell, even if the original threads on the frame are damaged.

I was sure it was threaded through the BB before being tightened up but it's been a few decades since I fitted it. :roll:

I'll pop it out over the weekend and double check.
If it'll fit the French frame I'll be skipping around the garden.

YES it will fit OK You just need to get the Frame Cut with the Mavic Tool.

Martin This is some photos of the Mavic cutting Tool 652-653 thats needed to put the chamfer on the frames BB & a diagram of it in place.

I can't help you with a Mavic headset but I do have a french threaded campagnolo Nuovo/record one. (I think its Record)?
