there must be some history...was nigel dean a racer ? nigel dean was an ex pro racer i believe from the north east. he traded for 10 years in the 80/s and 90/s. he built with many types of reynolds tubing inc 753 & 708 when alloy and carbon tubed frames became more popular than steel in the 90/s...

no whats not seen doesnt matter ! if you dont get any joy here try hobby modelist shops and clubs they have links to precision engineers with a view to bespoke.

i would enlarge the holes to 5mm and not bother with ferrules. in this situation generally i think ferrule' less looks neater.

do people use those crud catcher s and cheap plastic mud guards which fit to the seat post for training. or do they just not bother and accept that they will get splattered in mud ?

Re: yeah i like these.they were made by giant and share the same external cabling t tube as the cadex.my trek 2300 has internal rear brake cable routing but alluminium rear stays. they do pop up now and again..sounds like you liked it.
