What campagnolo groupset would you suggest?

Re: Nice. Does look like late 80s Super to me, with a Superconfex/Kwantum team inspired paint job. Victory/Triomphe would be good, and no blasphemy in my eyes. Maybe Chorus? C Record and CDA seem to go for silly prices. Some Ambrosio rims, or Campag Omega?

    Campagnolo Gearing Advice

I've got a couple of Racing Ts running on 111mm BBs on 28.6 seat-tube diameter frames, and the chainline is fine. You'll need a triple front mech. Works ok with my 8 speed ergo levers, but not tried 9 speed. You'll need a long cage rear mech as well. Nick

    Dawes Galaxy 25" frame.

Re: You need to hit 30 posts before you can send direct messages, due to problems with spam. Some people list their emails in their profile, so that might be a way forward. Have you also tried the CTC forum, where there will also be interest in this? Nick

    Wanted - Small frameset/complete

Re: Graham Weigh 7005 Al frame and 1" threaded fork with Stronglight headset. Very light. 47cm ctt; would make a nice lo pro. From 1998, I believe. Paint is original and good with a few marks but nothing serious. Was used for time trials and then stored for years. 130 spacing at rear, English...

    Holdsworth Championship

Re: I agree with everyone else that there's no pressing need for any restoration, as this is in fine condition. If you are intent on selling it, then you are better off leaving it as it is - just give it a good clean. There is a lot of affection for Holdsworth, and a premium on originality...

    Falcon Black Diamond

Re: That takes me back, especially the "quilted" saddle :) I had the same on my Coventry Eagle of the same era. In fact, the bike was very similar in many regards (the two marques were linked.) Lots of respray places; there are some threads on here with regional recommendations if you search...

    Campag Ergopower adjusters

Re: I do the same as Nob. Fully screwed in and then use them to increase the tension in the cables (which is usually necessary.) I've never had to reduce the tension on set up. Nick

    Which Colnago Frame it is????

Re: Didn't all Masters have crimped Gilco tubing? I'm pretty sure it's not a Master Olympic. I don't remember seeing the Colnago embossed on the bottom bracket shell of a Super, though. Mexico is just like a Super but with lighter tubing. I still think some variant of Super. The top of the...

    Which Colnago Frame it is????

Re: Looks most like a Super, possibly early 90s. But I don't remember them having fully chromed rear stays. I thought they just had chrome on the drive side stay. Transfers don't seem quite original, either. Could well have been resprayed and had extra chrome. Most of the other steel colnagos...

Re: Here they are. 1974 in really nice condition. No cracks round the spoke holes, importantly. Bearings are great. More pictures at https://photos.app.goo.gl/iETDZp5GP1KVpJCP8. I'd like £60 plus postage for these. Let me know what your friend thinks. Nick

Nuovo record groupset parts, gp4 rims, isca tornado saddle,

36 hole GP4s, red label version. I've only recently taken these off their hubs, and the wheels were true and round. Light wear to the braking surfaces, but loads of life left in them. Anodised surface is in very good condition, with no major scratches. No flat spots or dings. Some of the eyelets...

Nuovo Record rear mech pat 82 Some pics of the rear mech. Really nice condition with no major scratches and no looseness at the joints. The jockey wheels are replacements, with ball bearings, and spin wonderfully. I like them, and they're probably more or less period correct as well (I've had...
