Sorry for my English:)

Hello,

I am new here in the forum and don't really know my way around.

More by chance I got a Colnago bike that I don't know which model it could be.

Can anyone tell me what year the frame is from and what Colnago model it is? And maybe the value?

Here are the pictures:

Re:

Looks most like a Super, possibly early 90s. But I don't remember them having fully chromed rear stays. I thought they just had chrome on the drive side stay. Transfers don't seem quite original, either. Could well have been resprayed and had extra chrome. Most of the other steel colnagos from then had chromed lugs up front. I presume it has recessed brake mounting which you are covering up. Might be hard to sell for more than the value of the frame (maybe £350?) in that configuration. Frame might sell for a bit more than £350 on eBay.

I’d hazard a guess this is a master frame from the early 80’s going by the Colnago name on the seat stays...

Maybe Colnago Mexico?

Re:

Didn't all Masters have crimped Gilco tubing? I'm pretty sure it's not a Master Olympic.
I don't remember seeing the Colnago embossed on the bottom bracket shell of a Super, though. Mexico is just like a Super but with lighter tubing. I still think some variant of Super. The top of the seat stays matches the early 90s one I had, but not the early 80s one.

Re:

Master had gilco tubes, Mexico had fluted (crimped) top and down tube. I had both back in the 80s

Re:

It looks like a Colnago Super, early to mid eighties. Looks to have had a respray hence the non standard chroming. I agree with previous posts as I owned a Master from 1986 and it had the square Gilco tubing, this is definitely not a master and the Mexico was a super with crimped tubing.

Re:

I concur it's a super.
I rode with a mate (ex independent pro, but that's irrelevant) in the early 80s and his was almost identical in every respect. The transfers were the same and it didn't have chrome head lugs. What I can't remember is if it had the chrome rear triangle like yours
